He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashby Earl "Bud" Embrey and Hazel Ernestine Messick Embrey; his wife Della Chapman Embrey; and his son William Jefferies "Jeff" Embrey. He is survived by: his son Michael Todd Embrey (Becky) of Catlett, VA; his stepsons, Sam Frazier of Remington, VA and Ricky Frazier of Sumerduck, VA; his sister Betty Embrey Hickey of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Jeffery (Amanda), John Embrey and Sarah Embrey; his great grandchild Greyson Embrey; and his niece Elizabeth Trekas.
