He is remembered fondly for his affable personality, often expressing sentiments such as, "What's going on?" and "Don't mess it up!"In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, the SPCA, or the Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad in his honor.
