Cordia leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cordia’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Cordia will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Moore and Margaret Roberts Moore; her husband Willie Lennie Garrett; and her son Marty Wayne Graybeal. She is survived by: her children, Hilda Lee Machado and Robert Jeffery Graybeal; and her grandchildren, Angie, Little Jeff and Sheena. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (11020 W Broad St, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Westhampton Memorial Park (10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238).
