He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Virginia Johnson; and his brothers, W. T. Johnson, Bobby Johnson and Tommy Hobson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnson; his children, Shana Adams (Tim) and Dennis Johnson, Jr. (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Kylie, Nicole, Ethan and Ciara; and his brother Donnie Johnson (Wanda).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
