She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Coletta Hairston; her grandchildren, Carlos V. Carbonell, Vanessa D. Carey, Maxwell A. Hairston and Noah A. Hairston; her great grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Rolando, Leo, Treyvon and Anaiah; and her daughter-in-law Jenelle Butler Hairston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
