It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Earl Maxey of Henrico, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Earl Maxey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Wyatt Maxey and Ruby Snoddy Maxey; and his spouse Shirley M. Maxey. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberley Woodard (Curt), Jennifer Herndon (Shawn) and Laurie Tucker; his grandchildren, Michael Woodard, Cain, Addyson Herndon, Lukas and Ella Tucker; and his sisters, June Jeter and Mary Newman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ridge Baptist Church, allowing his legacy of service to continue.
