He was predeceased by: his daughter Heather Blanton; his parents, Judy Blanton and Ed Blanton; his father-in-law Elvin Desper; his grandparents, Bennie, Mildred Hanks, Alex and Florence Blanton; his aunt Georgie; his uncle Buck Hanks; his close friend Erich Kuhlmey Jr.; and his friends, Jo and John Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Blanton; his daughter Emily Blanton (Aaron Blowers); his siblings, Lora Blanton and Rusty Blanton; his sons, Erich Kuhlmey III and Chris Frohman (Stacy Ribblett); his grandson Bradley Frohman; his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Grace, Kaitlin, Linzee, Jake, Sadie and Stella; and his mother-in-law Doris Desper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
