She is survived by: her children, Sandy Jacobson, Bruce Staples (Nancy), Christy Holton (Tom) and Charles Cabell Staples, Jr. (Nicky); and her sister Charlotte Bernier. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
