It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard C. Ligon of Henrico, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Maggie. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Allison (Chris), Kerrie and Andrew (Audrey); and his grandchildren, Rose, Owen, Lily, Nora, Layne, Mallory and Jesse.

A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1400 S Randolph St, Richmond, VA 23220). A reception was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
