He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Burris and Edward Burris; and his brothers, Cary and Anthony Burris. He is survived by: his wife Alice S. Burris; and his children, Deborah Gabriel (Seth), Michael Burris (Cathy), Cynthia Burris, Rebecca Thomas and Nicole Smith. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren; as well and nieces, nephews and other extended family.
