It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stuart Deitrick Sr. (Henrico, Virginia), who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Stuart Deitrick, Jr. and Gladys Matthews Deitrick. He is survived by: his son James S. Deitrick, Jr. (Lucy); his granddaughters, Maya Deitrick and Anisa Deitrick; his son Michael H. Deitrick (Regina); his grandson Gabriel Deitrick; his stepson Michael C. Murray (Yuki); his grandchildren, Sora, Kengo and Anna; his stepson David M. Murray (Erin); his grandchildren, Layton and Kennedy; and his siblings, Sandra D. Kes (Bill) of Columbus, GA and William R. Deitrick (Baek) of Richmond.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children or Good Shepherd UMC.
