It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Plourde of Henrico, Virginia, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Morris and Jeanne Carpenter Morris; and her brothers, Ward Simmons and Tom Morris. She is survived by: her husband Allan Plourde; her daughters, Erin Covington (Erik) and Lindsey Gianoukos (Jason); her grandchildren, Emma, Evan Covington of Henrico, Virginia, Sophia and Reid Gianoukos of Charleston; and her sisters, Nancy Cox (Clay) of Tucson, Arizona and Anne Cox (Tim) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
