He is survived by: his sons, Edward Don Hixon and Justin Robert Hixon; his granddaughter Hannah "Jack" Hixon; his siblings, Stephanie A. Hixon (Terri Rae), Jeffrey L. Hixon and Steven S. Hixon (Kelly); Barbara Herman (Randy). He is also survived by his father's sister, and additional family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Owen Funeral Home (303 S Halifax Rd, Jarratt, VA 23867). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
