She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Swanson Fitz Sr. and Ida Belle Hart; her husband Marvin C. Green of Chase City, VA.; her daughter Angela Gale Winn; her siblings, C. S. Fitz Jr. and Ruby Tollerson; and her children-in-law, Sherry Green and John Layne Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Green (John) of Richmond, VA and Kim Newman (Kevin) of Richmond, VA; her son-in-law Scott Winn; her grandchildren, Dayna Winn (Nancy Kaye), Jeremy Winn (Chrystal), Jill Manning (Matt) and Kelly Wood; and her sister Elizabeth Franklin. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
