He is survived by: his wife Shirley P. Townsend; his daughter Shreco Thompson; and his siblings, Linda T. Humphrey and Lonnie Townsend. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law, devoted Johnnie Muse, Jr.,; sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
