He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stewart Nachman; his children, Grace Elizabeth McDaniel (Michael) and Stuart Nachman (Kristen); his grandchildren, William McDaniel, Graham McDaniel, Caroline Nachman and Jennifer Nachman; and his brother Howard A. Nachman.
