It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bette Jayne Haney (Herndon, Virginia), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Hixson and Lena Hixson. She is survived by: her son John Aaron Haney, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Charmaine Haney; her grandchildren, Sarah Hosford, Benjamin Ratner, John Aaron Haney, Jr. and Orion Haney; her great grandchildren, Bria Hosford, Adelyn Hosford, Lilly Ratner, Isabelle Ratner and Simon Ratner; and her husband John Edward Haney. She is also survived by her many friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Chantilly Bible Church, 4390 Pleasant Valley Rd., Chantilly, Virginia 20151, Attn: Administration.
