She is survived by: her parents, A. J. Barron and Jennifer Renee Spooner; and her sister Tylar Chun Sa Barron.
Dede eventually attended West Virginia University to study Engineering on an academic scholarship in 2019, but her education was disrupted by the COVID pandemic.
