He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn "Jane" Mayer; and his sister Lisa Marie Wilusz (Dan Wilusz). He is survived by: his father Donald William Mayer; and his siblings, Richard Mayer (Jeanine), Robert Mayer (Alice), Amy Klein (Bob) and Dale Potts Jepsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
