With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lynn McKinney of Herndon, Virginia, born in Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McKinney and Lucille McKinney (Strader); and his brother Eddie McKinney. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Bowman (Steven), Melissa Overbey and Todd McKinney (Christy); his grandchildren, Kara, Holly Bowman, Tanner Overbey and Emma McKinney; and his brother Randy McKinney (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
