She was predeceased by: her parent Donnalee Nelson (Thornton). She is survived by: her father Willis C. Nelson; her stepson Frederico; her husband David; her sons, Davoud Mansour and Willis Reza Brame of Rocklin, CA; her stepmother Betty Ann of Berryville, VA; her brothers, Richard (Julia) and Charles of New Jersey; her great-aunt Edith Blake; her aunts, Dr. Yvonne Thornton of New Jersey, Dr. Linda Thornton of Florida and Dr. Rita Thornton of Florida; and her uncle Bil Nelson (Eloise) of Mississippi. She is also survived by friends, colleagues, neighbors.
Services were held in Rocklin, California, however the family encourages anyone wishing to honor Heather by donation to consider the Code Green Campaign (an organization promoting first responder mental health) or the Lupus Foundation.
