He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur James and Elsie Eva Lloyd (Johnson); and his sisters, Gloriann Haitz, Dolores Peterson, Joyce Olson, Donna Cuvelier, Linda Sappington and Janis Sanderson (Lloyd Selthun).
He is survived by: his wife Babette; his daughters, Heather Johnston (Nate) and Tiffany Severtson (Jorn); his grandchildren, Evelyn Johnston, Adelaide, Sylvie, Lealia and Elin Severtson; and his brother-in-law Steven P. Fulwider (Cece). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
To honor Jim's generous spirit, the family invites friends and family to consider a donation to one of the following places that were close to his heart: either The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (bone marrow transplantation program or prostate cancer research), or Cornerstone Christian Academy, to support the future through education rooted in a biblical worldview (where some of his granddaughters attend).
