It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirk D. Kennedy of Herndon, Virginia, born in Herkimer, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kennedy and Monica Kennedy (Santamour); his close friend Theresa Griffith; his brother-in-law John Carnes; and his nephew Andrew Carnes.

He is survived by : his siblings, Debra Carnes, Bridget Cormack (John), Kevin Kennedy (Jackie) and John Kennedy III.
