He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Howes and Phyllis Dibble Howes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Sterling; his children, Jennifer Eggleston (Connor) of Warrenton and Christopher Howes (Jessica) of Remington; his grandchildren, Abigail, Zoey, Mackenzie and Zane; and his brother Randy Howes of Unadilla, N. Y..
