He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanne Hoover, Julie Goeringer (Mark), Jacqueline Jacobs (Wayne), Joanne Claytor (Jerry) and Joy Palmer (Darin); his grandchildren, David Hoover, Jessica Goeringer (Brian Gerike), Catherine Swift (Kaleb), Craig Goeringer, Christine Jacobs, Colleen Jacobs, Emma Claytor, Wyatt Palmer and Cody Palmer; and his siblings, Paul Puerling (Patricia), Joan Houpt (late Wayne) and Philip Puerling (Ellen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
