It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard J. Schrader (Herndon, Virginia), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert and Antionette (Nee Di Tusa); his wife Madelyn Bondanza of Buffalo; his children, Nicholas (Iris) and Gabrielle; his grandchildren, Kerri, Joseph, Johnny and Wyatt; and his siblings, Dennis (Sandra), Diane (Charles) and Gerald (Sandra). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has expressed their wish that gestures of sympathy be made by charitable donations to "Johns Hopkins University," c/o Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, 550 N. Broadway, Suite 731, Baltimore, MD, 21205, with a note indicating the donation support Dr. Polydefkis' Research Fund.
