William David Brent Obituary

In loving memory of David Brent. Survived by his son, Cameron Brent; daughter, Erika Brent; wife, Diane Pisani-Brent, brother, Jeffrey Brent; sister, Cyndie Brent.

David was a Father, a Brother, a Son, a Husband, an Uncle, and a great friend to many people. David was born on March 19th, 1955 in Amherst, Virginia. He attended Amherst County High School Class of 1974, went on to study at East Tennessee State where he was a proud member and President of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and ultimately transferred to James Madison University where he graduated Class of 1978 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Political Science.

David met his first wife, Cynthia Brent, at James Madison University. They moved to Virginia Beach where they lived for several years before settling in Northern Virginia. They frequented the famous Clyde's restaurant in Tysons, Virginia where they shared joyful memories with many life-long friends. The pair had two beautiful children, Cameron David Brent in 1989, and Erika Nicole Brent in 1994. David was a loving and incredibly proud father.

David remarried in 2006 to his wife Diane Pisani-Brent. They were married in their brand-new, beautiful townhome where they lived for 17 years and together raised two sweet dogs, Ellie and Bianca.

David was always the life of the party. He had an extreme passion for dancing the night away in his platform disco shoes, he was a diehard Redskins fan, but ironically, David was a cowboy at heart. His collection of cowboy boots, snake skin belts, leather trinkets, and cowboy hats will always be remembered and cherished. He was a member of Lowes Island Country club, now known as Trump National, in Sterling, VA where he was an avid golfer and pool-fanatic for over 30 years. However, David felt most "at-home" when he was at the beach - digging his toes into the sand, body surfing in the waves, and burying himself (and his children) in the sand.

His contagious laugh and outgoing personality allowed him to make friends everywhere he went. He was an incredibly proud man and touched the lives of many throughout his 68 years of life. Although his spirit has passed on, his memory will last in our hearts for decades to come.
