He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Stroud and Genevieve DePol Stroud; his wife Vuthany Holl Stroud; his sister Jennifer Stroud Trivett; his nephew Joseph Trivett; and his niece Kristen Trivett Bruch.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Adams-Green Funeral Chapel (721 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170).
