He was predeceased by: his significant other JoAnn "Jojo" Gazzaway; his parents, Gordon Gazzaway and Alice Gazzaway; and his sister Rosemary Piles (Richard). He is survived by: his children, Tess Ferguson (Steven) and Donnie Poulson; his grandchildren, Tyler Ferguson (Kelsey), Charity and Kaylen Poulson; and his siblings, Georgia White, Debra Parr and Donald Gazzaway (Winnie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Butch's honor to VFW Post 8529, Sandston, VA.
