He is survived by: his significant other Diane Goad of Hillsville, VA; his children, Sherry Shaffner (Jason) of Galax, VA, Ashley Reynolds (Nick) of Corunna, MI, Brittany Anthony (Devan) of Galax, VA and Casey Baumgardner (Lisa) of Galax, VA; his stepdaughter Ashley Goad (Brandon White) of Roanoke, VA; his sister Patricia Hill of Galax, VA; his aunts, Mildred Vaughan of Galax, VA and Libby Bean of North Wilkesboro, NC; his uncle Tony Bean (Kathryn) of Hudson, NC; his grandchildren, Kodi Winesett (Jessy), Alyssa Baumgardner (Carlos), Lakin Shaffner (Kelly), Emma Baumgardner, Lilly Cole, Westin Cole, Dawson Cole of Galax, VA, Jonathan Shaffner (Jessica) of Ennice, NC, Colton Reynolds and Raven Reynolds of Corunna, MI; and his great grandchildren, Christian Sanchez, Colton Sanchez, Kinsley Winesett of Galax, VA, Zeke Alford, Eli Shaffner and EllieMae Shaffner of Ennice, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
