Conaleah Dickerson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Conaleah Dickerson of Hillsville, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Conaleah departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Conaleah may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Conaleah leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barley and Myrtle Dalton Barley; her husband Berlin Marlow Dickerson; and her sister Gaynell Melton. She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Dickerson (Bonnie) of Hillsville and Gerald Dickerson of Hillsville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
