She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurley Lee and Edith Marlene Nunley Shrader; her brother Dennis Shrader; her great-nephew Zac Carter; and the father of her children Randy Barlow.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Daniel Alexander; her children, Lori Wright, Josh of Pawleys Island, SC, Chad Barlow, Savannah of Longs, SC, Eric Alexander and Christy of Hillsville, VA; her siblings, Ima Jean Brooks of North Tazewell, VA, Randy Reynolds (Irene) of Central City, PA and Rebecca Rutledge (Harold) of Buffalo, IN; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Alexander and Carolyn Handy (Gerald); her grandchildren, Nicholas Crawford, Ainsley Wright, Taylor Spraker (Derek), Brody Alexander, Damon Hill (Reanna), Holden Barlow, Halle Wright, Brooklyn Barlow, Kymber Alexander and Hudson Barlow; and her nieces and nephews, Amy Carter, Dr. Kelli Brooks, Jason Shrader, Ashley Chapman, Michael Reynolds, Jonathan Reynolds, Rebekah Reynolds, Regina Handy, Travis Handy, Jude Rutledge, Caleb Rutledge and Deacon Rutledge. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
