He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Jenkins and Sarah Blonnie Strickland Perry; his siblings, William Jenkins Perry (Maggie) and Jean Perry Amos (Dolphus); and his adoptive father Robert William Kemp of Richmond, VA..
He is survived by: his wife Alice Nora McGrady Perry of Hillsville, VA; his son Christopher Allen Perry (Charlotte); his granddaughters, Isabelle Evangeline Perry and Bridgette Cameron Perry; and his siblings, Frances Kay Workman of Zebulon, NC and Ronnie Perry (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel (1035 N Main St, Hillsville, VA 24343). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery (865 Pine Ridge Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597).
