We are sad to announce that, on August 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Marlin Wade Surratt of Hillsville, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Rabon Surratt and Myrta Marie Alderman Surratt; and his siblings, Darlo Webb (Ronnie), Alta Weddle (Joe) and Arlin Surratt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Iroler Surratt; his daughters, Cheryl Rodgers (late Robert) and Lori Huff (Greg); his grandchildren, Brandon Huff, Lauren, Ashton Taylor, Caleb, Tessa Schwartz and Jordan; his sister-in-law Jean Surratt; and his brother Glen Surratt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cause that was especially close to Marlin's heart, working to advance research and support for Alzheimer's disease.
