It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nyoka Gay Wallace Black in Hillsville, Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Wallace and Betty Powers Wallace; her husband Arvil Black; her sons, Romie Lee Bolen and Roy Lee Bolen; her siblings, Franklin J. Wallace, Vickie Pearson and Connie Keene; and her sister-in-law Melissa Wallace.
She is survived by: her sons, James Dial (Anna), Billy Joe Dial (Beth), Sterling Dial, Adolphus Bolen and Clyde Bolen (Pam); her sister Diana Keene (Eugene); and her siblings-in-law, Grover Keene, Terry Keene and Yvonnie Martin. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Northcrest Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
