He is survived by: his father Lester Surratt; his wife Irene Chermack Surratt; his children, Roger Surratt Jr., Jessica Soto (Martin) of Hillsville, Virginia, Stephanie Frame (Ben) of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and Karen Lallave (Rick) of Woodlawn, Virginia.; and his siblings, Tony Surratt of Bassett, Patricia Ross and Melanie Carroll of Bassett, Virginia.. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
