He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Alger and Claudine Alderman Alger; his daughter Tina Alger; and his brother Ralph Alger. He is survived by: his wife Fay Alger; his sisters-in-law, Alice Alger and Ann Wade (Ray W. Wade, Sr.); and his nieces and nephews, Valeri Robinson, Carolyn Yvonne Alger, Shelley Alger, Bobby Alger and Greg Alger.
