Wayne Goode Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Goode of Hiltons, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Goode and Agnes Goode (Tyree). He is survived by: his wife Carol G. Goode; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Gary Chaffin; his grandchildren, Luke Wallen and Braylie Chaffin; his brother Larry; and his sister-in-law Ellen Goode. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bible Way Baptist Church (570 Packing House Rd, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spurrier Cemetery Spurrier Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spurrier Cemetery Fund, 4021 Lunsford Mill Rd, Hiltons, VA 24251.
