He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford and Margarette Shaw Miller; and his sister Ruth Ward. He is survived by: his wife Josephine McDorman Miller; his son Dennis Miller (Lolly); his brother Robert Miller (Margie); his granddaughters, Heidi Miller (Josh Padon) and Wendy Miller (Drew Meyerhoeffer); and his great grandchildren, Holly Padon and Emerson "Emmy" Meyerhoeffer.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clover Hill Cemetery (3457 Fulton School Rd, Dayton, VA 22821). Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salvation Army Church (185 Ashby Ave, Harrisonburg, VA 22802).
