He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Guy and Irene Daisy Saunders Turner; and his brothers, Alvin and Tommy Turner. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Cook Turner; his sons, Marlin (Cynthia L.) of Bedford, VA, Lanar (Vickie) of Rural Retreat, VA, Shannon (Ashley) of Lewisburg, WV and Brandon of Hinton, WV.; his grandchildren, Austin, Chandler, Haley, Hannah, Bradley, Branson, Tewon, Tiana, Tempyss and Savannah; and his sister Hilda Turner (Edgar Turner) of Hinton, WV. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel (100 Park Ave, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roles Chapel Church Cemetery Fund, 5184 Seminole Road, Forest Hill, WV 24935.
