She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin DeBoard and Emma Smith DeBoard; her husband Jack Leonard Young; her sons, Timothy, Kirby and Michael Young; and her siblings, Samuel, Damon, Claude "Jake", Raymond, Benjamin Ray, Denzil, Donald DeBoard, Elsie Williams, Lucie Jane Holcomb, Emma Holcomb, Susie Gallegos and Shirley Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Young of Brooks, WV and Angela Greer (Bob) of Brooks, WV. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
