She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Depuy and Gladys Depuy; her husband Ansell Godbey; her son Denver Dwayne Godbey; her granddaughter Breanna Godbey; her siblings, Betsy Kehoe and Dale Depuy; and her son-in-law Jeremy Carpenter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cecelia Fox of Hilldale, Greta Brown of Jumping Branch, Bonnie Ward (David) of Hilldale and Reba Godbey (Jimmy) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Nikolas Carr, Devin Brown, Justin Godbey, Trevor Godbey and Briyonna Godbey; her great grandchildren, Terra and Janelle; and her niece Chrystal Comfort.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel (100 Park Ave, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
