She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbert Forest and Manola Dickenson Guyer; her daughter-in-law Staci Shiflet; and her brothers-in-law, Ted Puffenbarger and Robert Miller.

She is survived by : her husband Leroy Irving Shiflet; her children, Mike Shiflet (Julie) of Broadway, Gayle Jones (Greg) of Woodstock and Mark Shiflet (Bobbie Hammer); her sisters, Alta Ritchie (Dan) of Dayton, Karen Puffenbarger of Harrisonburg and Linda Miller of Dayton; her grandchildren, Jeremy Shiflet (Kristin), Ashlea Link (Jared), Austin Payne, Dara Shiflet, Brooke Shiflet and Caleb Hammer; her great grandchildren, Alex Shiflet and Eliza Link; her granddaughter Kelly Lam; and her great grandchildren, Dakson Lam and Harper Lam.
