He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Junior and Margaret Lucille Shifflett McDonaldson; his sister Vicky McDonaldson; his close friend H. T. "Mac" McBride; Sherrif Dick Strawderman.
He is survived by: his sons, Patrick McDonaldson (Deleasa), Kevin McDonaldson (Christine) and Aaron McDonldson (Tallulah); and his siblings, Sandra Mohler, Ricky Herring, Frank Junior McDonaldson Jr. and Brenda Ritchie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
