He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh F. Sr. Sweeney and Alma Louise Hamilton Sweeney; his sister Mary Catherine Fuller; and his grandson Ronelle Marq Betts. He is survived by : his wife Judith Wynes Sweeney; his daughters, Trisha Nicole Sweeney of Talcott, WV and Sherri F. Betts of Pontiac, MI; his sister Jewell Maxine Merenivitch of Hinton, WV; his aunt Bessie Anderson of Charleston, WV; his grandchildren, Sasha Betts of San Leandro, CA and Malik Wynes of Hinton, WV; his brother-in-law Jerry Wynes; and his close friend Elmo Adkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
