It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce A. Ritter of Hinton, Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce A. Ritter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rheo E. Meador and Floye E. Boone Meador; her son Rhett; and her siblings, Rheo "Bob" Meador, Harry Meador, Wilma F. Maddy and Betty Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Davis W. "Tink"; and her children, Davis W, III, Robin Giles (Ted), Sarah Wheby (Frank) and Leslie Ritter. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one expectant great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
