He was predeceased by: his parents, Norvel Turner and Violet Hartwell Turner; and his siblings, Carol Cantrell, Hazel Allen, Judy Crook and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Violet "Patsy" Meadows Turner; his children, Pamela Dickenson (Benny), Mitchell Turner (Sandy) and Greg Turner (Sherri); his siblings, Nancy Duff (Bill), Shirley Lilly (David) and Calvin Leroy Turner (Princess); and his grandchildren, Jason Dickenson (Susan), Benjamin Dickenson (Jamie), Brian Dickenson, Tyler Turner (Megan), John Ratliff, Jordan Berry (Cynthia), Chastity Ratliff, Tyler Lane (Alyssa) and Ally Lilly-Turner (Bart). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pivont Funeral Home Chapel (100 Park Ave, Hinton, WV 25951). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bellepoint Baptist Church, 211 Miller Avenue, Hinton, WV 25951.
