He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Isaac Stevens and Bertha Stevens; his wife Janice Wilson Stevens; his parents-in-law, Rev. Homer and Blanche Wilson; his siblings, Earl Stevens, Luther Robert Stevens, Estil Stevens, Letha Marie Stevens, Jean Dotson and Dimple Moore; and his great grandchild Shaun Lee Miller Wilson.

He is survived by : his children, Denise Hubbard (Gary), Loretta Miller Shortridge and Nolan Stevens (Jenna); his grandchildren, Kristi Fields (Casey), Ashley Cherith Gilbert (Thomas), Kishia Wilson (Chris), Kelsey Miller, Peyton Stevens, Savanna Stevens (Layton Parrott), Eden Stevens, London Stevens, Anniston Stevens and Aspen Stevens; his great grandchildren, Malachi Gilbert, Jonah Gilbert, Rhythm Gilbert, Eleanor Fields, Thatcher Fields, Ayris Wilson and Hendrix Wilson; his siblings, E. C. Stevens (Anna Ruth), Garnett Stevens (Dorothy), Darrell Stevens (Kay), Betty Ball, Edith Johnson (James) and Ann Johnson; his pet Bullet; his caregivers, Katie Miller and Lisa Sims; and his grandchildren, Lloyd Wilson, Roby Lowe, Harold Harris and McKinley McGlothlin.
