He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arney and Ruth Hoskins Arney Cooke. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Campbell Arney; his son James Arney (Brennan); his grandchildren, Andrew Arney (Emily) and Abigayle Arney; and his brother Terry Arney.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ketron Memorial Gardens (154 Huckleberry Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266).
