He is survived by : his wife Faye Compton McGlothlin; his children, Elder Dauler Barrett McGlothlin of Fletcher's Ridge, Michael Randy McGlothlin (Patricia) of Honaker and Alma Mullins (Billy) of Stinson Ridge, Virginia; his grandchildren, Renada Deel (Robbie), Brandon McGlothlin (Kim), Dakota McGlothlin (Falyn), Colton McGlothlin (Maddie), Tiffany Staley, Billy Joe Mullins, Mark Mullins and Mike Alexander; his great grandchildren, Tara Farmer, Maggie Keen, Braxton McGlothlin, Paiton McGlothlin, Lilly McGlothlin, Cole McGlothlin, Kelsie McGlothlin, Devan Staley, Kaylon Staley, Aryssa Mullins, Caleb Mullins, Seryah Mullins, Jonah Mullins and Katlin Alexander; his great great grandchildren, Weston Farmer and Walter Farmer; and his siblings, Martha Ball of Honaker, Dollie Compton (Eugene) of Lebanon, Virginia and Memphis McGlothlin (Judy) of Honaker, Virginia.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the same location.
